Cosmetic Fillings

Cosmetic fillings can be placed in both anterior and posterior teeth to repair tooth fractures, replace decayed tooth structure, to close gaps between teeth and to modify tooth form or color. Dental composite fillings mimic the shades and appearance of tooth enamel. Due to these properties they are more esthetically pleasing than silver colored amalgam fillings.  An additional benefit provided by composite restorative fillings is that they require less removal of tooth structure, as they bond directly to the tooth.
